This month we are examining the issue of academic integrity on university campuses. UOIT, much like other colleges and universities, is confronted by a search for solutions to the issue of academic misconduct. Creating a culture of academic integrity requires leadership on behalf of the faculty as well as from the student body.

This article reviews a decade of research conducted on cheating in colleges and universities. It finds that cheating is prevalent and increasing dramatically in certain contexts. It offers suggestions for faculty and students to deal with the issue.
