Resource Suggestions

Review the Subject Guides that your librarians have compiled. They are lists of recommended resources in various formats (e.g. books, e-books, indexes and databases) that introduce you to discipline specific information. IF you are having difficulty narrowing down your topic start with the Subject Guide entitled Multidisciplinary and General Sources.

As you advance in your studies, you should make greater use of journals because that's where new developments are published first. We therefore recommend investigating Indexes & Databases and Journal Titles.

For a complete listing of ALL UOIT Library Resources click here.

Our Find It @ UOIT, electronic linking service, will help you navigate through the search process and find full text materials. When using Google Scholar be sure to add University of Ontario Institute of Technology- Find It @ UOIT as a Library Link under Scholar Preferences. IF full text materials are not immediately available, request an Interlibrary Loan through RACER (Rapid Access to Collection by Electronic Requesting).
