Renewals
Three renewals are permitted for most regular loan items. Renewals can be done online through My Account, in person at the Circulation desk/Service desk, or by phone at 905.721.3082. A User ID and PIN is required for online renewal.
Items that are renewed after the due date will incur overdue fines. Where material cannot be renewed due to patron or item blocks, f ines will accrue on overdue items. Patrons are responsible for all fines.
Patron blocks:
- If you owe $10.00 or more your privileges are blocked and you cannot renew.
- If your borrowing privileges have expired you cannot renew.
Item blocks:
- If the renewal limit has been reached you cannot renew the material.
- If the item has been requested by another patron (i.e. there is a hold on the item) you cannot renew the material.
- Reserve material cannot be renewed.
- Material borrowed through Interlibrary Loan cannot be renewed.
- Some material borrowed from the Education Library may have different renewal limits for some categories of borrowers and cannot be renewed.
