The Health Education Technology Research Unit (HETRU) at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology is taking a leadership role in the development of evidence-based instructional methods and materials. HETRU has identified ten areas that seem to be important to transforming health education. Summer conferences and weekend workshops are now being developed for each of the following areas.

  • Teaching Patient-Centred Care to Health Sciences Students
  • Bringing Patient-Centred Care into Clinical Settings
  • How to Improve Disposition and Self Efficacy in Learning-Training Environments
