Bursaries
Bursaries are awarded to students based on their financial need. Occasionally, there may be other requirements for qualification such as membership in a certain organization or enrollment in a specific program. Students must be in good academic standing to be considered for bursary funding.
General bursaries
General bursaries are available for full-time students requiring additional financial assistance for educational costs. You will be considered for bursary funding by completing a Student Financial Profile form, which is available August 1 each year on the MyCampus website, along with information regarding eligibility requirements and deadlines for submission. You must have a valid student number to access the MyCampus website. Before applying for a general bursary, you should investigate all other forms of financial assistance. This may include:
- Family support;
- OSAP;
- Part-time employment;
- Scholarships; and
- Student line of credit.
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by SAFA and you will be notified of the results via your MyCampus email account.
