The Gates Foundation’s HIV strategy aims at reducing new infections and reducing the burden of disease in developing countries. Our strategy is to strengthen HIV prevention and help ensure programs are as efficient and effective as possible. Value: up to of $3 million for establishing proof-of-concept of a novel biomarker, or set of biomarkers, for the measurement of HIV incidence.
