Student Awards and Financial Aid Office
The Student Awards and Financial Aid office (SAFA) is dedicated to helping you achieve financial success while pursuing your post-secondary education. As a student, you may need a combination of financial resources to cover all the expenses of your post-secondary education.
We offer a variety of services designed to provide you with accurate information and guidance to assist you in funding your studies.
Services available include:
- Financial aid counselling;
- On-campus employment programs;
- OSAP and other government financial aid programs; and
- Student awards, scholarships and bursaries.
Short-term assistance and financial emergencies
If you are experiencing short-term financial problems or critical financial emergencies, SAFA may be able to help. A financial aid officer will meet with you to discuss your options. Please visit the SAFA office to book an appointment.
Tuition deferments
We strongly encourage you to pay your tuition costs from your own or your family's resources. We understand there may be instances where this is not possible. Learn more about UOIT's payment procedures.
