Applying As Exchange Student from an Official Exchange Partner

In order to be accepted for the Exchange program at UOIT, students must be nominated by one of our partner schools. Once the partner school nominates a student to study at UOIT, an application for admission is required. The online application will be sent to you once the nomination has been received by our offices from your Exchange office.

An English proficiency test is not required. Our partner schools are to nominate candidates for exchange who meet our English proficiency requirements

Note: The official letter of acceptance from UOIT for Canadian Entry Visa (TRV) and/or study permit purposes will be sent upon receipt and assessment of the Exchange application.  See www.uoit.ca/immigrationinfo for requirements for entry into Canada.  If you are in Canada for less than six months, you will not require a study permit but you may require an entry visa.

All accepted exchange candidates should plan normally to arrive by the Thursday before classes start and stay until the examination period.
