Welcome to the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and UOIT International.
Whether you are a visiting exchange student for one or two terms or joining us as an international student and enrolling in a full degree program, UOIT welcomes you as a highly valued member of the university community.
Located in the eastern part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in the city of Oshawa, UOIT has already in its short history developed a community of international diverse students, faculty and staff and becoming known for our innovative learning strategies.
Toronto is situated about one hour by air from Montreal, New York City, Boston, Chicago and Washington, D.C. UOIT is approximately 50 minutes from Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport by car. Taxi service is the most convenient way to reach the school directly (approximate cost: C$60.00). There is also easy access to downtown Toronto and other locations in the Greater Toronto Area by public transportation.
UOIT International is pleased to provide services to incoming students at all academic levels as well as students going on exchange and/or study tours. The office has an open door policy and would like to bid you welcome to UOIT in person, so make sure that you visit UOIT International when you are on campus. We are here to help.
