Massage Therapy is the treatment of the body's muscular and soft tissues structures to help relieve pain, muscle spasms, reduce stress and promote healing. This is accomplished by improving circulation (increasing blood flow), deepening relaxation and providing an increased sense of physical awareness and emotional well-being.
What to expect on your first visit?
Your first visit will typically take a little longer than regular appointments. You will be asked to completed a confidential health history form and your Massage Therapist will ask you a number of questions related to your condition as well as your general health history. This will help your Massage Therapist determine the best care for you.
