FOR FACULTY: HOW TO PUT MATERIAL ON RESERVE - instructions and online forms for placing material on reserve
To ensure more equitable access to high-demand items, instructors may place items "on reserve" in either the Main Campus or Education Library. Items will be designated as 3 hour loan, 1 day loan, or 3 day loan by the instructor.
All reserve material is kept behind the Circulation/Service desk of the library where it is located. To access reserve material present a valid library card, along with the call number of the item (see How to Find an Item on Reserve for more information) to staff at the Circulation/Service desk. All reserve material must be returned to the library from which it was borrowed and hourly loan reserve material must be handed to staff at the Circulation/Service desk.
Only current UOIT students, faculty, and staff can access Reserve material. More information about borrowing Reserve material is available in the related links.
